Most of the methods for measuring the 4 C’s in K-8 education are problematic:

 

-Critical Thinking tests require a certain degree of proficiency in reading.

-Creative Thinking instruments are often extremely subjective.

-Communication and collaboration assessments are presented with the challenge of measuring practical skills.

-All of these tests are generally time-consuming and expensive.

 

Success Through Chess is a superior way to measure the 4 C’s, as it is objective, quantitative, efficient, and affordable.

 

Students receive a level, which corresponds to their development in all of the 3 crucial chess variants:

-Traditional

-Speed Chess

-Chess Doubles (Bughouse)
